I have never been a runner. I have never run more than 10min in my life. I want so much to be a runner. I want to be able to run and run and run and run. What great stress reducer. What great calorie burner. I am going to try ths couch to 5k program and see if I can become a runner. Running a 5K is something I don't really believe that I can do. I want to prove myself wrong. Day one went well. I can run for 60sec and then walk for 90 and then repeat. Tht I can handle. As it progresses, and gets harder that I am not so sure about. I guess this is just a lets put one foot in front of the other type thing and trust that it will come. We'll see.
I WANT TO RUN! I WANT TO BE A RUNNER!!!!!!!

You can do this. You really can. I ran my first 5k at age 49 last year, and I wasn't even the slowest of the race. - Check out the runner's group in the group section. Most of them started the way you do now. I know I did.
