Thursday, Mar 15 2007 - Photo taken this morning on our daily walk

View RENIGEID's food & exercise for this day

Took this photo this morning as we began our morning walk. Another early blooming shrub or bush. We call it "mock orange" as there are several varities. We have one bush that is about eight feet in diameter and about 10 feet tall. This one is a bird haven. They stay in it year round and use it as a refuge from the many hawks that we have. If anyone has a different name, would appreciate your comment.

A nice morning for a walk. About 70 degrees and cloudy. Ebby and I both walked in short sleeves and shorts for the first time this year. Was so very nice!

Splurged this morning on breakfast after a late sleep in. At least late for us. Did not get out of that bed until 9:00 AM. Breakfast not so healthy as it was 710 cals, 40% fat, 9% protein and 51% carbs.
One cup of coffee with sugar and milk, four strips of bacon, four hot cakes, three ounces of boysenberry syrup and one TBLS of stick butter. MMMMMMMmmmmmmmmm Good!! Sorry heart!

Weight=162.5#.

Been having a little eye problem lately and have made an appointment to have them checked. I have implants in both eyes and a touch of MD. The MD causes me a little concern as (and I know this sounds a little corny) I do not want to miss any of the beauty that we have the opportunity to see every day. I have seen a lot in my 71 (nearly 72) years but feel there is much more out there to see and I don't want to miss any of it. I think often of the phrase "Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder" and I believe this is so very true. I see beauty in old barns, trees, clouds, animals, birds, flowers lakes, rain, (and not the least) in people that I come into contact with either in person or even on the net. In fact, I see beauty in almost everything. Perhaps it is because I am always looking for it. I don't know.

Nuff said! I've rambled on more than I should have already. I wish a great and beautiful day for all my friends including those friends that put up with my blogs and jokes. Another time Y'all. Jim

:rock1: Congrats on the 162.5 !!! Another beautiful pic. :) And good luck on the eye apt. -- we often don't appreciate what we have until we loose some/all of it.

I have one of those bushes.... I also have a white one... Weird but I'm south of you and mine hasn't bloomed yet.... something about the hill we live on that daddy and I have noticed--almost EVERYTHING we have blooms after everyone else's within about a 60 mile radius... It's like there's some sort of cold trapped under our little hill... Beautiful picture as usual!! I hope the eyes are OK!!
