This shot of a spider web was taken on one of our early morning walks when the dew had attatched to a spider web. The photo prior to downsizing shows the beads of dew on the strands. I thought it interesting.

Photo of one of Ebby's lilies. Had a nice gentle rain most of yesterday. Really needed it as we were a minus eight inches for the year so far. Hope this is not a forecast for a long hot dry summer.

Took this photo this morning as we began our morning walk. Another early blooming shrub or bush. We call it "mock orange" as there are several varities. We have one bush that is about eight feet in diameter and about 10 feet tall. This one is a bird haven. They stay in it year round and use it as a refuge from the many hawks that we have. If anyone has a different name, would appreciate your comment.

This photo of the crape myrtle blossoms was taken while the tree (shrub) was in bloom last summer. For those interested, this tree is native to China. It also grows wild in tropical Asia and Australia. So beautiful when in bloom after a rain with rain drops on the blooms.
