Early morning web of beauty

Saturday, March 17th 2007

This shot of a spider web was taken on one of our early morning walks when the dew had attatched to a spider web. The photo prior to downsizing shows the beads of dew on the strands. I thought it interesting.

See the raindrops on the lily buds!

Friday, March 16th 2007

Photo of one of Ebby's lilies. Had a nice gentle rain most of yesterday. Really needed it as we were a minus eight inches for the year so far. Hope this is not a forecast for a long hot dry summer.

Photo taken this morning on our daily walk

Thursday, March 15th 2007

Crype myrtle blossoms

Tuesday, March 13th 2007

This photo of the crape myrtle blossoms was taken while the tree (shrub) was in bloom last summer. For those interested, this tree is native to China. It also grows wild in tropical Asia and Australia. So beautiful when in bloom after a rain with rain drops on the blooms.

Another day so beautiful it makes you want to lie down in the grass and just watch the white puffy clouds drift by like when you were a kid! But! Do we take the time??
