Photo of rose breasted grosbeak. Looks as if we might have two pair this summer. Hope so. A very pretty bird and not so wild.
First rain last night in weeks. Everything is sooooo dry. Looks like a loooong hot summer to me. Have seen them begin like this before. Usually not a good sign.
Broken rib still hurting like blazes. woke me about 1:00 AM really doing some tall yelling. A couple of meds helped me get at least a little sleep. never knew a litle broken rib could cause so much pain. Golden years! Blooey!!
