A new day at 3:00 AM. Rough night sleeping!

Ok, here it is 6:00 AM and i am up and running. A lot to do today. Want to get the front pasture cut and then somnetime today a trip to the dentist to have a crown put back on that came off yesterday.

Hope Y'all like the bird house. I built it several years ago and covered it with cedar. It feeds all the way around and has several perches on each side that were made from 3 inch hardwood dowels. They are now worn off to stubs by the many thousand tiny feet that have perched on them these many years. it is now badly in need of some repair as it is beginning to look a little ragged. Had a lady stop by about five years ago and try to buy it. Told her it wasn't for sale and that anyway it was beginning to look a little "used". She said that was why she wanted it. Well, it looks even more "used" this five years later. it has served well. Holds about six galoln of mixed seed. I usually mix up 100# of sunflour seed, 50# of fighting scratch and 100# of wild bird seed at a time in a large barrel. All types of birds can then enjoy a feast from it for many weeks from this mix. The birds shown here are two rose breasted grosbeaks and one black headed grosbeak.
