Not a lot of rain but in these dry conditions every drop counts!
The red headed woodpecker shown is getting a bill full of suet to feed his (her) young. A frequent visitor to the suet feeder along with other types of woodpeckers. They all love suet for the young.
Has anyone tried to grow tomatoes in a hanging basket or bucket. I am trying a couple this year to see what happens. Hanging them in the back yard (fenced in) to keep them from the deer who visit every night. Deer LOVE green tomatoes!
Ok, Ebby and I off early this morning. A follow up visit to one of my docs and a visit to the hearing center. Thinking about new hearing aids so I can hear the birds singing better.

Glad you got some rain. We had T-storms last night - golf ball size hail - even a tornado watch - and it's going to rain today too, without the drama. Beautiful picture.
