Friday, May 18 2007 - Nothing new in the sticks!
View RENIGEID's food & exercise for this day
Well, nothing news worthy here in the sticks this morning except!!!!
1. The sun is shining brightly

2. We recently had some much needed rain

3. No doctor visits today!!!!! !!

4. Yard work awaiting.
Ok, guess three smiles are a plus over one frown, huh?
Yesterday checked on some new hearing aids for the old guy. Cost before all discounts was over $5000. Finally down to $4000..

Thinking about it, but is it a wise short term investment? HMMmmmmmm.
Then! had a dream last night. Dreamed I was opening up a waterway from a spring in the back woods all the way to the front pasture with a drag link. Was quite a long tern and costly undertaking. Then! In the dream began wondering if all the effort was worth it for a short term investment. Now that I am awake and have given some thought to the dream, I am thinking that sometimes dreams are a very strange happening. Wouldn't you agree? Now! I am not a very superstious man but............., Oh well, something to ponder about.
Nuff said! Have a nice day Y'all, it sure is a beautiful one here in north Georgia. Ebby and I had our morning walk through the fields and woods early this morning. Was a little cool one (needed long sleeves and long pants) but was such a beautiful morning that it was truly breath taking!! Jim :love1:
Sorry about the long blog, but just sort of got carried away.
Weight=166.5#.......Hopefully the rib will have sufficiently healed to exercise again next week....

What a beautiful picture. Reminds me of the line "He makes me lie down in green pastures." If the hearing aids work, absolutely, worth the investment!
:) Send some of that sunshine this way! [We're having more rain today.] LOL at Linda's comment about your "long" blog. Have a great day.

Pic is of a field looking from the back pasture toward the northwest front pasture and lake. Harvested some giant pine trees from this area last summer. The grass is now covering most of the stumps. Some of it is now almost three feet high. Hides Ren when he walks through it. I sowed some rye grass and oats after harvesting the pines for timber.

;) Plus, knowing you, I doubt if yard work really brings a frown.... Have a great day, Jim
