View RENIGEID's food & exercise for this day

AAAahhhh the freedom of the outdoors! My adopted grandson and one of his co-workers stopped by yesterday after they had finished their workday and they, Ebby and I decided to fish awhile. They caught several bass (catch and release, one caught a bass that weighed about five pounds) while Ebby and I caught bream for eating. Did very well for the short time we fished. They are all now filited and in the freezer. :o)

Weather is still out of this world here. Air quality appears better today as the wind has changed somewhat.

Ok, ready for a light breakfast and our morning walk in the woods with Ren.

Ebby and I were a little lazy this morn and slept in until eight. Going to be a late walk this morning and is already promising to be a hot one.

Yes, that was a downey yesterday. Same today but a different one where I caught him with a strange look on his face as if he is saying "where the heck did it go?" as all of the suet is gone.

I wondered why the baseball was getting bigger: Then it hit me! :)

Hi there Jim! When you start feeding wild birds, it really seems like a strange dynamic of a relationship begins between the birds and you. It seems like they get their kicks out of you from the food, and you get your kicks out of them from their chirping personalities--it is weird, but fun! I am glad you enjoyed fishing with dear kin and that now you have some good fish in the feezer. This sounds funny coming from a girl who grew up on a beef cattle ranch, but I have only been fishing once, and it left me totally traumatized. I caught a small orange fish in a lake, I was probably 7 or so, and then I totally identified with it there, hanging with a hook in its mouth, and started screaming and freaking out that I had hurt it. Of course, my dad came to the rescue, and I have never been fishing again. It is funny, because, like I said, I grew up on a cattle ranch and I've seen animals butchered and everything, and I am fine with it, but I just for some odd reason really identitified with that little orange fish that summer day in my youth **smile**. I still sometimes think fondly of the little orange fish **heehee**! However, I think that fish makes a great dinner, so enjoy your catch :) Take good care, Kristen P.S.: I'll reply to your email later :)
