RENIGEID's CalorieKing blog

Friday, Jun 15 2007 - Well, 03:45 hundred hrs again and "UP"!

View RENIGEID's food & exercise for this day

Seems as I get deeper into the Golden Years (God bless them) it becomes much harder to sleep through the entire night. So! :( here I am working on the computer (working?) and drinking a good cup of hot coffee.

I did not blog yesterday and guess what? We got an afternoon shower!!!!! First in months!!!
I wonder! Is this revelant?? Is someone trying to tell me something?? Oh well, here I am back again. :)
At any rate, just could not get in the groove yesterday and even failed to do my weight training exercises and my crunches :(. Promised myself to do better today so my first step is blogging.

The photo shown of the northern lights isn't one of mine but I thought it so very nice that I wanted to share it with you folks. Hope anyone reading this mess has a great and satisfying day of events.

The "after" photo is of grand daughter Faith at an earlier age. I've always liked it and just wanted to share. Kinda like meeting someone on the street and they pull out the folder of kids and grand kids huh!! :) Oh well, just humor an old codger this one more time. OK, nuff of my rambling, Jim

PS: Yes, Donna, anything can happen fast at our age :nono2:

:hi: Jim. You are always offer me a smile and a refocusing to the REAL riches of life and living, which is a precious gift :). The picture of your granddaughter is totally adorable--she looks full is giggles!!! And, no, I am not just humoring you--I really, truly delight in knowing you! I hope that today felt more productive to you than yesterday, but there isn't anything wrong with having hobbies--it is all about balance (which, BTW, I am horrendous at

She is a little doll  I think I know why I sleep less the older I get. What use to take me an hour to accomplish is starting to take three hours. I need more "up time" to get the same amount accomplished in a day. ;) Have a great day and .....get with the program. =D Congrats on the rain. It is so humid here, which we are NOT used to in SD, that a person melts and is soaked just going for a walk. Lots of rain yet. Want some?

That's an adorable picture of your grand daughter! Only a child would pose like that! Of course I love the other photo. I think we are creatures of habit. I still get up at 5 a.m. and I can sleep as late as I want! :) I thought once I retired I'd never get up at 5 a.m again. I'm glad you got rain! I didn't blog yesterday either----I really think those are the kinds of thoughts you have in the middle of the night when you should be sleeping!!! :)
