Yup, another hot one, 96 degrees so far (1500 hrs) and still a stiff wind that keeps the old front yard windmill spinning. But, can sit on the front porch and have lunch and still keep cool (with overhead fans running) without worrying about misquitos.
Painted another martin pole this morning before lunch. The heat came on before I finished and I was wet with sweat by the time I got it set up again. Enough work for today. Came in, had a light lunch, read awhile and then took a short nap. ...

Took Ren on an early morning run this morning. Just Ren and me. Ebby stayed in. The heat is beginning to become unbearable so taking Ren out while the morning is somewhat cool.
Painted all of my martin gourds yesterday. Getting ready for next years return of the martins. Today, planning on wirebrushing the pole and repainting prior to raising it up again for the winter.
Eye report. Eyes are doing so much better. The thinking now is the problems were caused by a chronic sinus infection....

Still not enough rain to keep things alive. This is the worst I've seen in many years in our state. So very hot and dry. To be 100 degrees F here today with a hot wind blowing.
Having a hard time keeping Ebby's flowers alive with the rationing of water. Perhaps rain will come soon. Been many days now.
OK, nuff said about nothing.
Anyway, enjoy the "fresh" photo. I sprinkled a little drink on it this morning. nice day everyone.

This darn sweet potatoe vine just keeps growing, growing AND growing!
Still very hot here. In the mid to upper 90's the last few days and today is forecast to be no exception. Not very good breathing weather for oldsters with the high humidity.

Another beautiful morning here in Georgia. Ebby, Ren and I had an early walk this morning before breakfast. A lot of heavy dew and beautiful sunshine before the heat moves in.
a shot of Ebby, Ren and myself yesterday evening checking out the deer feeder. Quality not so good as it was taken with the deer cam and it is not focused exactly where we were.
Not blogging much but still think of our friends on here daily.
