Photo of rose breasted grosbeak. Looks as if we might have two pair this summer. Hope so. A very pretty bird and not so wild.First rain last night in weeks. Everything is sooooo dry. Looks like a loooong hot summer to me. Have seen them begin like this before. Usually not a good sign.
Broken rib still hurting like blazes. woke me about 1:00 AM really doing some tall yelling. A couple of meds helped me get at least a little sleep. never knew a litle broken rib could cause so much pain....

Ok, how many of you get to see old fashioned WILD BLACK BERRY blooms!Ok, Ren now appears to be back to the old Ren. Was really worried there for awhile.
Another beautiful day it seems. Going to take it a little easier today than yesterday. Cracked a rib or two throuth stupidity.
