These Iris's have been coming up and blooming by this old stump ever since we cut the tree because it had died. We've just left them alone to get another photo next year. Hope they stay a long time. Would be pretty in watercolors!! If only I could paint!!!

Wild honey suckle against an old log in the woods behind the house. A lot of those here in the early spring. Some grow to be very large beautiful bushes. This photo was taken last spring (o6). So very much more beautiful if shown full size, but.....................................

Took this photo yesterday. Our first flowers of spring. I call em buttercups but Ebby calls em jonquils. They come up all over the place this time of year, in the pastures and around the house. Apparently at one time a long time ago there were some farm houses and an old barn in the back pasture. I have found pieces of old traces and bridal rings with the metal detector. During the civil war, the main road ran through one side of the back woods. If you use your imagination you can almost conjur ...

Ren and flowers taken last spring. No weigh in again today. Have gone OVER cals for the last three days. The last two plus 500 each day. Will wait and see the results of over cals and no exercise in a couple of days. Hopefully can begin exercise again in a few days.
