I worked so hard today. I did treadmill and elliptical work ended up burning about 960 calories and combined distance of 8 miles then rode the short way home on my bike for 5 miles.....I got home and was tired but not exhausted. I added the X-box Kinnect to my routine beginning tonight but was really way too tired to do much with it. I'm not sure if I'm going to like it more than the Wii Fit or not. The both have their selling points.....but I DO like it so I will be using it for sure. It's going to be a fun tool and take out the hum-drum of the daily grind.
It's supposed to rain for the next few days and I am not happy about that because I won't be able to ride and I'll be stuck in the gym or my studio doing workouts. That's ok too, because I need to do core work and weight training. I've been ignoring it because I was riding everyday and at the gym focussing on mostly cardio and leg work. I'm getting skinny legs and a skinny ass but I've got a pot belly that won't quit. That's got to go because it looks awful. I really have to work on that.....it's hard to be motivated to do it when that kind of workout is the one you hate the most. But seriously who wants a fat belly right?
Last week I mostly rode my bike and didn't do much working out. It showed on the scale at the end of the week and I know I can do better than what I did. I know it was a hormonal thing and I should have had enough about me to work through it. Last week was a bad one because I let it be a bad week. I know this week will be better but it still doesn't make up for a lack of motivation on my part.
This week I'll focus more on core and think about how nice it will be to get rid of my belly. My arms and back need some more work but they are coming along and it's nice to see my arms have some shape to them. I love the sculpting work The Firm gives me and I'll do a lot of that this week too.
