I nixed a bike ride today for a gym workout.....it was super hot today and it's supposed to be through the weekend so unless I can drag my ass out of bed early in the morning I won't be riding for a few days. I am beginning to not like working out at the gym. So I should probably do it more anyway. The bike is totally changing my physique and it's doing it quicker than grinding it out on the treadmill and the elliptical. Plus I can burn almost twice as many calories.Dick's called toda...

I rocked a 24 mile bike ride today. How freaking cool was that?I can't say much for Kansas (I was raised on the Gulf of Mexico) but it's so fun to be out riding and pass the tractors and the corn fields. I love seeing the kids playing the the front yards of big farm houses. Cows and horses in pastures, old men in rocking chairs and dogs on front porches. Fresh mowed hay and grass......green and red watermelon....grills fired up and the smells are intoxicating. Everyone has their flags...

Gotta figure out what the freak is going on. I worked my ass off this week literally and gained a pound. My eating hasn't been clean I know but it hasn't been awful either.....nothing that I think would warrant a 1.4 pound gain......I ate a lot of salt the last two days it maybe water retention..I just don't think salt would do that. I know it's not hormonal...that's done until the middle of July.I've dropped another size and my clothes are still getting bigger.....in the past two we...

Finally was able to take a bike ride....DH had to change the tire TWICE today before I could go. Both times the tubes went bad as soon as we inflated them. They were brand new tires. I don't get it. Anyway...11 miles and 650 calories later......redemption. So nice to get out and just ride.I'm STILL waiting on my own bike to be fixed. AND there is STILL no word. Dick's Sporting Goods sucks.
I'll probably ride tomorrow and go to the gym. Gonna mow the MIL's yard too. I'm hoping to...

DH fixed the tire on his bike and I was off on a 15 mile ride and then half way into it....the same damn tire goes flat!!!!!
The fates and the universes are conspiring and plotting against me.
This is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO frustrating.
And still....I'm waiting for my bike to get fixed..."Uhhhhh.......... we're like uhhhhh..... still waiting on that bike part m'am." Are you kidding me? C'mon!!!!!
