I haven't learned the secret of quickly losing those weekend pounds yet.
I have a free-meal(s) Friday Night / Sat Morn, which always sets me back.
Last week, I gained 3 lbs on Friday Night / Sat day, when I measured on Sat night
By Sunday, I was down 1 lbs from the three, and by Monday AM, I lost 3 lbs, I was already below my Friday AM weight. Now that is fantastic.
This week, that didn't quite happen.
I gained 3lbs by Sat Night, by Sunday AM, stayed at the 3 lbs, and by Monday AM, was only down 1 lbs
I know this sound confusing, but basically, it means:
a) Starting Monday, AM, I'm already 2lbs higher than I was on Friday AM. That sucks.
b) If I'm aiming at losing 2.5 lbs / week, I now have to drop 4.5lbs just to meet my goal.
Given a lot of hard work & exercise, I probably will hit Friday's AM weight sometime between Tuesday - Wedensday! Wow - I work the whole week just to get back where I was before!
This is very frustrating.
I know the key to success is just to keep on doing the good-stuff, but I wish I could get this weekend weight under control. I could really just drop way more weight, much faster, and not spend my entire week just catching up to where I was on Friday!
