Friday night went out with a friend. I had pre-set my limit on the drinking at 3 beers. I went over it slightly by one jagerbomb and 1 beer. But at my 4th and final beer I said no more and stopped. I feel really good about that. Normally when I'm having a good time having a few extra beers or drinks to make it a better time is okay with me. But I didn't want to sabotage all my hard work this past week by drinking. YEA ME!!!
Saturday I got up and went to workout just like it was something I've been doing all my life. I didn't really even thing about it. Just did it!!! I spent the balance of the day at work. Several projects going on so it had to be done. I was a little sore last night from the great workout on Friday night so I took it easy, got to bed early and woke-up renewed and refreshed.
Sunday made myself a great, healthy breakfast, then layed in bed and finished a book. I've only been trying to read this for 4 months. The book wasn't hard to read just a little distracted. It's good to finish it though. I'm about to leave work and head to the gym. I need to get a really good cardio burn in today. Problem I'm having now is it's 2:30pm and I haven't had lunch. I think I'll skip it. I've grown accustom to being slightly hungry and really almost relish the feeling because to me being slightly hungry means that I'm doing this eating right thing correctly. (I've also done quite a bit of hydrating at work today.) Not more eating so much that I'm sick for several hours afterwards. I'm going to workout and then have my protein shake to see how it goes.
Tomorrow is weigh-in day and of course I have peeked...I hope that weight loss holds because it's been a good week.
I hope that everyone has a great week ahead.
