Well I had a kidney stone attack Sunday evening and finally passed it this afternoon. (My doctor thinks it was due to dehydration so I'll be more aware of the amount of liquids I intake in the future.) I'm really glad this is over because I was ready for a good cardio workout. I'm happy to report that I had a 3 hour workout at the gym tonight...5 miles on the treadmill.

My weekend out of town was okay. I made some good choices and followed the plan. That is right up to the point that I went out with my little brother and sister Saturday night. We meet several of their friends out and the alcohol was free following. I had set a limit but at the point I could not remember where I was at I gave up or gave in. We had a great time and I burned some of those extra calories off practicing two-stepping with some friends. Fun, fun.

I was glad to be back home so I could control my enviroment. It's good to be back with my food, my schedule and my surroundings. Now it's back to the business at hand which is getting healthy by eating right and working out like crazy. I love it that I can mostly run 5 miles on the treadmill. I hope to translate that really quickly to the pavement.

Thanks for the words of encouragement the other day! It's nice to hear from someone with similar interests... I love running as well (and a little drinking and two stepping - lol)... I ran 4 miles on an indoor track last night but I too want to move this outdoors. Best of luck with your efforts! You seem really focused, keep up the good work! - Kathy
