Sooo, had a talk with my best friend, who just happens to be a personal trainer, and explaining my woes of plateauing to him. I gave him the run down on my eating habits (which I thought were spectacularly healthy, considering the alternative and my history) and he said I was taking in too many carbs. TOO MANY CARBS?! I eat good carbs like bananas, and apples, and oatmeal, and nuts. Healthy right? Right! Just not conducive to weight loss like a more carb-restrictive diet.Thursday, March 15th 2012
So....I'm plateauing. A bit disturbing. I am exercising, eating right (high protein, high fiber, low carb {carbs are: whole grains, fruits, veggies, nuts, beans...), sleeping 6-8 hours a day. The only thing I don't do is lift weights, yet. I'm still recovering from a pulled muscle (I hope, with my back).Tuesday, March 13th 2012

Beer. That's it. I'm "diabetic" (so says the ass in the white coat), so no wine. So...beer. Good. Can't afford prozac or other goodies. So, beer.
