Another good ride

Rode my wind route at a very slow pace and felt pretty good considering the ride yesterday. I hoping the recovery drink is part of that. Foot was not a major problem. Average speed was very low but conditions were wet and cold and I did not push at all. The good thing is that I'm not so tired that I'll be able to ride in the am Monday. Going out for Kevin's birthday. I need to find something that won't kill the good I've done.

Rode to Grove City Cross country meet. New route though Coopers rock cut off a few miles and only ended up with 48. 3 hours and 20min with an average below 15mph. It however was dark and foggy for the first half and I did not push. Right foot pain on hills. I think this was due to the elipitcal workout on Thursday. I need to take it is on it. Also at about the 40 mile mark noticed my heart rate in the high 80s%?? even during modest effort. Don't know what is causing that?? Burned 2400 calor...

One belt loop tigher

First sign of progress today. Noticed that I'm one belt loop tigher. Need to remind myself I have a long way to go and it will be difficult to maintain this level of enthusiasm. Hope to get in two long rides this weekend.

Good Week

Had a good week this week. Rode every day including 17 miles in the rain this am. Felt good enough to do eliptical at lunch. Working on lateral strength of left leg. Weather for the weekend sounds good. Looking forward to off day Friday. May try two longer rides this weekend. Hopefully that will lead to a >2lb loss again on Tuesday.

Week 1 weigh in today. I hope...I hope...I hope.

Hoping for a big change maybe not realisitic but I ate well and had some good long work outs. :) It would be nice if I get off to a good start. Today was the first day I had to ride inside that will be a challange as the weather gets bad.

Yea 235.4 lbs a 4 lb loss. I have to keep reminding myself that this will not happen every week but it does show that I'm on track. My target of 1200 calories NET except on rest days seems to be OK....
