So I reach my target almost everyday, but I'm compelled to exercise more which takes me out of my target. Then I don't recieve a check mark showing I've met my target. Isn't part of moving out of the bronze stage and into the silver stage meeting your target 3 days in a row? But what if I'm burning more than I'm taking in? Isn't that what weight loss is all about?

Alcohol is not your friend....

Thinking a couple of Martini's to wind down the work week would be nice, but just as there was no balance with food, I didn't practice moderation with the vodka last night and I am paying for it this morning. Yuck! I feel zapped and unmotivated now.

So, I've made a decision to let go of alcohol. Besides the way I feel, I just read that what I drank amount to 700+ calories. I didn't go over my limit but it's 700 calories I could have done without.

Time to pick myself up, dust myself off...

Steadily dropping pounds...

So I weighed myself this morning. I have lost a total of 22 pounds from my highest weight and 7 pounds since I joined CK. I thought I was supposed to get a Bronze Crown but alas, it has not happened. Am I doing something wrong. I am terribly sad and fear I may revert.

Nah! 22 pounds baby!!! Wooo hooo!!!! Feels good. I need to spend more time with CK other than logging food and exercise and blogging. I know there are other tools. I am open to suggestions.

So...how do I get my bronze cro...

Looking for Help

So, I've changed my eating and exercise habits dramatically, but I think I'm still eating wrong or maybe not as efficient as I could be. Any suggestions? I still don't know what my carb to protein to fat ration should be.

I know I've got to incorporate more protein in my breakfast and exclude more unhealthy fats.

So met my food goal by 6PM, including exercise, but, BUT...gave in and had 5 small cookies and milk and I gave up on sweets a long time ago. Now I have a headache. Whata baffoon!

Time to get on the bike and burn down those extra calories!
