Sorry. :@ session. Not making my calorie target. Exercising a lot and my appetite is going down. I don't have the desire or hunger to eat 1000+ calories at 8 PM. And I'm about to hop on the stationary bike for another 45 minutes. That's probably another 500+ calories.

Help. Advice.

Wow...sodium out of control. I need to get a handle on this high protein diet. Need to make better choices. I need more time. Need to read and research. Find what works for me.

Did 2 miles today. That's good. Happy about that. More changes are coming.

Um, so, I'm a weirdo. The title is a reference to a Star Trek episode, but it also refers to a new understanding of where I am at in my pursuit of looking sexy!

Started reading today that 150 minutes a week is the minimum to maintain a weight, not lose weight. 250 minutes a week is more like it, not to mention resistance training. I've been doing close to 40 minutes a day lately but it hasn't been consistent.

There's a lot to learn. And do.

So, looks like I'm plateauing again. Sick. Trying to do the Atkins thing. Very hard. Requires a lot of preparation. In the meantime I try to eat a lot more protein, reduce my carbs and throw in more butter than I normally have in the last few months. Worked brilliantly the first weekend, but somethings out of whack. Hence the title.

I'm doing pretty good. Lots of protein, more salads, not enough veggies and from time to time, sneak a tablespoon of soft serve from my kid's cup at Baskin Robb...
