Update:

Just a quick update. Girlfriend recently bought Turbofire. I woke up today yearning for a calorie burn so I brought up the idea of us trying it out tonight. So after class (at 10pm), I will be giving it a try just to find a way to get a burn.

It's crazy how after a week, I'm finding ways to get calorie burns. It's definitely a good sign.



Boot camp was no joke. I actually enjoyed it. Some good people were around who had been doing it since September. I pretty much kept up with them all until then end when I ran out of steam. Everyone including the trainer told me that I did a hell of a job for being a first timer. It's something that I'd like to continue doing however my schedule doesn't really allow for it (boot camp times usually are when i'm in class). I'm thinking about making it more of a consistent routine when i'm on my semester break between summer and fall.

other than that, pretty good weekend to report. I kept up a relatively good food intake and only had beer once (on Sunday after lots of working out).

Signs of encouragement #1:
I'm already thinking about when I can do any sort of workout next. (today is a very busy so not sure I'll be able to, but it's really encouraging that I WANT to do some sort of workout).

Wow, look at YOU! I think its so cool that your GF is also doing the fitness journey with you. Its nice to have that support along the way. Oh and bootcamp sounds like fun, I agree, you should certainly try and make it more routine if you like it. Keep up the great job!
