Loss - and aggravation

Had a loss this week, so I guess I shouldn't complain.

However, the CK weekly report thing scolded me for losing too much weight from last week to this week... which I'm not real happy about. I was PMSing in the worst way last week and was retaining more water than a sea sponge, so it's no wonder there's a 2 1/2 pound difference between last week and this week!

One thing I'll admit that I am struggling with a bit, though, is the whole calories thing. I can never seem to be consistent...

Weigh-in tomorrow

I really, REALLY hope to see a good loss tomorrow, especially after last week's abomination (real gain + water weight gain). I've been awesome on my calories and have increased the intensity of my exercise, so I don't really see why I shouldn't see some kind of loss this week.

2-lb GAIN?!

Argh. I wasn't that inconsistent this week, and after I do my run this afternoon, I will have met my exercise target for the week.

Honestly? I think it's water weight. I am PMSing in a major way (complete with a two-day migraine, that was fun) and I did have a bit more alcohol than I should have last night - although I did record it.

Damn.

I'm not giving up or losing faith in myself... but still.

Damn.

Feeling kind of overall crappy. I am low on motivation lately, but today I'm hoping to change that; I've made some realizations that I think will help me get there.

First: I'm letting far too many outside influences affect my healthy lifestyle, and that has got to stop. Lack of planning (and providing contingencies) has scuppered my progress this week. And the scale goes down!

Woo hoo! Today was my weigh-in, and I weighed 145. Also, knowing that my scale is a dirty, digital liar, I got on the scale again a few minutes later, and it said 144.5! So - I just stuck with 145, because hey - any loss is, after all, a loss! I couldn't wait to log it this morning.
