View SAXONHARP's food & exercise for this day
This weekend was a perfect weekend. We did not have to run the kids around crazy and we got sooo much done around the house that we have been wanting to do for a while. It is that good spring cleaning! I got a lot accomplished and I was able to relax too. We event did our taxes. Thank goodness we get about $400.00 back. Last year we owed 3,000!
Food wise I am doing OK. I did not do a good job logging over the weekend. I did do a good job at not eating until I was full. Example...we ate out on Friday and nothing really looked good to me so i only ate half of my hamburger and about 4 french fries. I did not want to waste calories on something that did not taste good. I do feel very good for that.
So Sunday I was very dilegent with food preparations for the week to keep myself on track and make it easier to log. I have not weighed myself since I got so sick a couple weeks ago. I am still not a 100% yet. I was good this weekend and did not exercise....very hard for me not too but I thought my body might need a little break. But tonight I am going back to the gym! I not sure when I am ready to step on that scale yet.
This week I am going to meet with a running coach to discuss Marathon training! I am excited about that. The marathon I want to do is in November but I thought I could use these next 3 months to pre train - not over train but lose some weight to get ready for the serious training! I am excited about it.

I love weekends when I just get stuff taken care of... not too fast or under any enormous pressure to do so... just getting it done! I'm excited about your marathon training too, Lisa! I have a friend who did one and I sat back in awe of her accomplishment (and, of course, cheered her on like a crazy person!!!!!)

Glad to hear you are having more success! All the preparing and logging is really hard but so worth it. I have been trying to run, but really cannot very well. I think I;m just too heavy and old. But I'm getting my weight down and working at running a little here and there.

I have a hard time logging on the weekends. It's like I rebel over doing it...

NROLFW= New rules of lifting for women. It's a good book and a easy read. I wasn't totally confused by the end of it

Good luck with the running coach. We joined a Galloway training group to prepare for our half marathon (September) and our full marathon (January) and I am loving it so far. I'm also trying to lose a bit before we go into the "official" training piece - so I think it's a great idea!
