View SAXONHARP's food & exercise for this day
Busy, Busy morning....
Good news for my husband. All is OK with his job for now. the owner is a very old crabby man that just comes in once a week for 3 hours. For some reason he thinks Jason makes up policies by himself and sends them out. Luckily 4 other managers stood up for him and said that Jason only sent an email informing them of the policy....Jason did not make the decision by himself....it was made by all the managers. His direct boss was very nice. It is not a good place to work but it is a good paying job until he can find something else. He was just happy that all the other managers were so supportive.
Did blood work for the Thyroid so should know in a couple weeks if all is good for another year. Docotor does not think that there will be an issue. Even though the cancer I have is very treatable....and I will probably get hit by a car jogging before I would die from this....it is just that "c" word that is scary.
Had a great speed work session last night. We did 12 300s at our goal 5k race pace. I have finally meet a group of gals that run around my pace so we look for each other each week now. I went into this speed work class not knowing anyone.
the other thing I was excited about was it was super hot yesterday like 98 degrees and I handled running in that weather very well. usually I have a very hard time.
On June 25th I will run a 5k so we will see how it goes! My goal is somewhere between 30-32 minutes.
thank you for all the postive comments!

WOOOO HOOOOOOOO to you on bunches of levels!!!!!!! What a relief that your husband's colleagues stood up for him. Probably helps him to not feel as much like he's out on a limb... and the old boss-guy is holding a chain saw!
:devious:
:tongue10:
Fingers will still be crossed about the "c" thing... and for you dusting your new running buddies!
