View SAXONHARP's food & exercise for this day
Green check yesterday! I think now that is 3 in a row. I am finding that I am not stuggling as much turning away from tempting foods. Honestly a lot of things are not tempting as much. Last night everyone wanted McDonalds. The only thing there that I like there is the ice cream cone (150 calories). Their Ice Cream machine was down so I did not get anything and just ate when I got home. Did not feel deprived at all. I love that.
I still have other things that temp me. I have a major sweet tooth but even that is getting a little better. Now if I can get that scale to budge again. I am getting close to getting back into the 21x something. I get close and then the scale will shoot up again. I know some of you have had the same issues. It is a little frustrating but I am really doing OK with it because I just still feel so good phyically. My running is getting so much better and faster, my clothes are feeling good so I am not going to let that scale get me down. The scale is only part of the story.

I think you're just hanging in the "2"s because you're waiting for me... which I think is both sweet and noble.

that is SUCH a great attitude - you are RIGHT that the scale only tells part of it. Making great decisions like that proves that you are changing your mindset -- which is SO important - since this is a lifestyle change you are going for, not a temporary fix!
