View SAXONHARP's food & exercise for this day
My new left hamstring injury seems to be related to my extremely tight lower back.
I have been given exercises to do and bought one of the back support things that you put in your chair and/or car. Today I am feeling much better, I can tell things are relaxing.
The plan is to not exercise for until Monday. I cannot remember the last time I had not exercised for 4 days. Only doing the rehab exercised and then I will run on Monday and see what happens. I am going to be a good patient!
I know that I have come a long way. In the past knowning that I could not exercise would have totally freaked me out. I am not freaking out at all. I have a goal to do these next 5 races - a 5k, 10k, 2 half marathons all leading up to the full marathon in November. 4 days will not hurt me.
My challange during these 4 days is cutting the calories. No exercise calories. Even though I am traveling for work this weekend and I will not be able to control the food choices I know I can make the best choice and still log estimated calories. This is my goal. I have no exuse for not being able to log since I can do it from my phone. I can do this.

Hope you feel better! Enjoy your traveling this weekend, hopefully there will be some better options out there for ya... Don't forget to pack some snacks just incase
