View SAXONHARP's food & exercise for this day
Busy work weekend. I was happy how I handled the eating. The lunch that provides was so yucky. It was hotel food. It was chicken and rice. I ate a few small bites and ate real slow so it looked like I was eating. I probably only ate about 10% what was on the plate.
We were in Chicago so I knew we were going to get Chicago style pizza. I enjoyed it and why wouldn't I have 2 slices? That is normal.
For the morning breakfast they had a buffet and there we a couple of yummy kind of things that I wanted. So instead of eating the healthy food and then getting what I wanted in addition. I went ahead and got the cheese blinz. Not good I know but I am glad I did it.
I had a small piece of a donut - i looked great but it was aweful...so I threw it away. Was not going to waste those calories. After I got home I was full but happy. We went out to ear for father's day. He wanted to go to a BBQ place. They had smoked turkey bresast so I got that. Everything else was just too heavy. I think those 2 chicago styple slices were still in my tummy.
Overall for going out of town I was happy how I handle the food.
My left hip is better and I was able to do my 10 mile run before work this morning! there was some tightness, not pain. So the back exercised I have been doing have been working!
My only problem with the run was that is was crazy humid...even at 5am in the morning. But I got the run in and I am happy. I feel really good today. Now when i get home this evening I can hang with my family cause my workout is done!

sounds like you had fun and did good with the food options. Glad the hip is good.
