I am definately doing the August Challange!
The weekend went great for me. Saturday was my 12 mile long run. I have now done 4 - 12 mile long runs in a row. I have never done that before. This last one had a 4 mile run the day before. Running coach says he wants me to go into the long runs with "tired" legs so when I do a race it will be on "fresh" legs. It was hot again but I made it through!
Next 2 weeks.....14 miles (Scarey)....honestly if it would just cool off a little I think I can do it.
The weekend eating went great. Saturday we had 2 parties. The first one I only ate a bratwurst with with bun. All the other stuff was not worth it. The second party did pretty good had a little too much dessert, it was difficutl to count the calories for the second party. Sunday I was home all day and stayed in calorie range. It is hard to do this when I am home all day AND it is a day off exercise. I just made sure I logged every morsel I ate.
The best was watching my husband. He made a real effort to not overeat. He was not perfect but I was so happy he was trying. He went to the pantry and said "I do not need anything" and then shut the door. I know how hard it is, I am just so glad he is trying.
