View SAXONHARP's food & exercise for this day

Yesterday was pretty good all in all. Green check! Did a TRK class and I am making good progress. There were some core exercises I could only do 3 out of the 10 reps. Now I can do all 10! the push up and and pull ups I have to move my feet out to make it more challenging.

Had a nice 4 mile jog this was nice and cool this morning.

I took a detailed look at my training program for September. Whew....I konw it will be good but I now have 5 running days. Now 2 of those days are different kind of workouts - speed work and different kinds of tempo runs. It is nice to have the variety of runs but it took me a little while to feel like I can do this. My running coach says I am ready for this 1/2 marathon that is on Sept 10th! Each week I report back to him my milage and times so hopefully he is right.

This morning I was 218. So hopefully tomorrow I will finally have a 2-3 pound loss for the month of August. That would be great!

Good job! You've made so much progress and just think how much more you will make. I hope your PAW weigh in went well!

How exciting having the half right around the corner! Are you running it in STL? Also - you did a 16 miler - are you training for the full? We rarely had anyone go over 14mi in our training.

And you live in STL? WOO HOO! I'll likely be staying at the Homewood suites in Richmond heights. The office is 101 South Hanley.

I would love to meet you. And If I'm in town for your half, I'd love to cheer you on!
