Yesterday got a green check! Was happy with that because I spent the day with my daughters at Six Flags. We packed our own lunch (too expensive to eat at the park) and on the way home we got a small ice cream treat.

Yesterday I had a 4 mile run and I felt tired the entire time. This morning I had another 4 mile run and it felt much better, it was humid though.

Yesterday was a pretty good day. Green check and the scale stayed steady at 217, it was nice to see 2 days on a row.

I am taking today and tomorrow off to hang with my daughters. I am working from home a little and then we are picking up some friends and heading to Six Flags.

I am alive! Just completed my last speed work session with Big River Running Company. It was a great experience. Did not PR the final 5k….I was just happy that I survived running in 102 degree weather (114 heat index at 7pm).

There are about 5 woman that I usually run around. they started out so fast. I decided to run between a 10:30-10:45 pace. I worked hard at keeping my pace slower. I am so glad I did. the other gals ended up having to walk and I ended the running a 10:43 average ...

No to much to say today. Busy at work. Green check yesterday. Today is supposed to be our 5k time trial for speedwork. It is going to be 102 degrees today. Yuck. Not sure if they would reschedule as this is the last day.

Final weight for July PAW Challange 220.5
-1.5 for the week
-6.5 for the July Challenge! (I started July 11th)

I am definately doing the August Challange!

The weekend went great for me. Saturday was my 12 mile long run. I have now done 4 - 12 mile long runs in a row. I have never done that before. This last one had a 4 mile run the day before. Running coach says he wants me to go into the long runs with "tired" legs so when I do a race it will be on "fresh"...
