View SAXONHARP's food & exercise for this day

For 4days I logged every morsel I put into my mouth (even Saturday and Sunday) and I had green checks all 4 days but the scale bounced back up to 218 this morning.

I am not too worried about it as I feel great and am so glad how well I am doing this December. My motivation is still hight to lose weight this month and not settle for maintaining.

I had great workouts the past 4 days. Thursday went to a weight training class - all we did were push ups and pull ups. Boy I felt that workout for a couple of days. Then I had 2 running days. Friday was a 30 minute run and Saturday was a 6 mile run. I felt great during both runs. Yesterday I did the workout my running coach gave me a while back....lots of running drills, squats, lunges, planks, etc. Whew....I can barely go up and down steps today and Have a very difficult time sitting down. It is a good sore though!

Hopefully my body is just adjusting to all the cross training I have been doing. Even though my calories were good my sodium was too high. I am focusing on the water drinking. Hope everyone has a great week!

You know that scale will move again! I bet even tomorrow it will be a better #. That darn scale likes to play with us. I keep telling mine, it's not funny :)
I bet it is from your cross training and you are doing just fantastic!

The scale is only one tool. How you feel trumps that, don't you think?

I am sure your body is in shock, give it a couple of days and the scale will move down.

I know I have said this before but I really want your running coach.

Sounds like you are definitely doing the right things and the scale will catch up soon enough! Your work outs sound bad ass. Keep up the great work =)
