Yesterday was another good day eating wise. Got a green check on calories (this include eating back 400 exercise calories, speedwork makes me HUNGRY). Nutirtion was pretty good. I was only over sodium and fat a tiny bit. I will call it a successfully eating and exercise day. One thing I noticed in paying closer attention to the nutrition details I have become more regular and it is making me feel less bloated. I will take that!

Exercise was good to. Last night was speedwork. We did 12 x 300s around the track. This is probably my favorite speedwork workout. It like the short faster distances. I was able to keep a consistant pace for all sets. The goal pace is for a goal of 29:30 5k time. Hopefully I will hit that by the end of the summer. I have a 5k on the 4th of July and then in August the speework group has a 5k time trial. I have 2 chances to hit it this summer. One of the best things about speed work last night was the weather! It was a beautiful summer evening, it was not humid and there was a wonder breeze!

Emotionally right now I feel good about getting my nutrition under control. I just hope this feeling lasts and I will keep up with the daily logging and blogging because I know when I do it I drop the pounds.

Oh, I am excited about this. I am managing a book job for "Jackie" Joyner-Kersee!! She will be picking up her book proof hopefully this week. I am so super excited to work with her and meet her. We are emailing right now. When I saw the author I took that job!

I have not weighed myself yet. Right now this week I know I am doing all the right things so I don't want the scale to get me in bad frame of mind since things are going well for me right now. I set a deadline for weighing myself for next Monday, just need to do it and use the number as one of the tools to track my progress.
