View SAXONHARP's food & exercise for this day
Yesterday was pretty good eating wise. I did have some impulsive eating (the m&ms) and 2 small lemon cookies after work BUT I balanced it out with a light dinner (chicken breast, greek yogurt and strawberries). Amazingly with my sugar grabbing yesterday I was under on my sugar! I have really been working on decreasing how much sugar I add to my daily stock meals and it seems to be paying off. I was over on protein a little and a little over on fat. CK says my calories are a green check including exercise calories. I am not quite sure how I want to manage my calories yet....eat back some, half or all exercise calories? Right now I am trying to listen to my body and if I am hungry have a smart meal or snack with fueling foods. We will see what the scale says on Monday!
This weekend is my daughters dance recital. It is always fun to watch all the dances and then on Sunday I do not have ANYTHING scheduled. This will be the first weekend day in a long time that I do not have some kind of obligation outside the house. Jason also has the weekend of which is nice. The only thing I have scheduled on Sunday is a 10 mile long run. I am back to double digits! The only time I will not see a double digit is if I have a race planned until October (half marathon or marathon? I have until the end of July to decide). It was sure nice having a couple of months only having 6-8 mile long runs. After my long run I really just want to be at home and get things organized and clean. I know I am strange but that sounds great to me!
