View SAXONHARP's food & exercise for this day
Yesterday was almost a duplicate nutrition day as the previous 2 days. I am OK with that because I have logged 3 days in a row, I feel in more control than I have in a long time, I don't feel deprived and I am eating with awareness. All these things are going to help me reach my goals: weight loss and running goals.
Tim, my running coach just posted "Regardless of how your last race went, don't get too high and don't get too low. Running is a journey not a destination." I am keeping this in mind as it applies to eating as well. I am trying to balance out my emotions about food.
This morning was Tempo running day. It was a 2 mile warm up and then 2x2 miles at 10:30 pace (a 2 minute break between 2 miles). It was a tough morning just barely hit the 10:30 pace. All I can say is I am glad I got it done before work and I don't have to think about it until next week. I am a little tired with work and holiday stuff. I do know that I am crazy sick of my tempo run route. My neighborhood is so crazy hilly that I might need to think of something else to do. There is a place that I could run before work but there is the shower issue. It is cold now that I might be able to make it work.
Everyone have a great day!

Great job toughing out the tempo run.
:y: Also, I love your coach's quote - it is SO true and applies to many aspects of life. Keep up the good habits.

you are a logging queen

Crazy how things just wear you out this time of year. I wonder if it is because it gets dark so early?
