View SAXONHARP's food & exercise for this day

Finally! I am back. I have attempted to blog a few times the past month but was always interrupted with work and ended up closing the browser without saving anything......

Leading up to the holidays it got pretty crazy for me at work and home. Work was just crazy busy, including a last minute sales trip they wanted me to go on that made it more difficult to complete the work I needed to do. BUT it was worth it. We landed the 70,000 job! And I lead the demo!!! Home life was crazy preparing for the holidays and 2 trips. My oldest daughter went Florida with the marching band the day after Christmas and I flew out with my youngest daughter to visit my Mom, 2 brothers and their families in Souther California. Jason got to stay home for his new job that is going great! I think I mentioned both my brothers are Ironman finishers. It was funny, I was able to show them good warm up exercises and stretching exercises that they did not know about! See a little sister does know something.

I got back into town last Thursday and am glad it is the new year! Last year the weight loss goals I had did not happen BUT I certainly have done a lot of mental work. I have not weighed myself in a month because I know I have gained weight. I can tell I am heavier than I have been in a long time. All my clothes are TIGHT!!!!!

It is OK though. I am ready to get my nutition into shape! Training Team starts this Sunday and I have a 2:20 goal for the Go St. Louis half marathon on April 7th. I know what needs to be done. I am off to a good start. This weekend, yes I started on the weekend! my nutrition was good. We went grocercy shopping and I did food prep yesterday for the week. It is great to have Jason around on the weekends! We relaxed but got stuff done that needed to be done. It was so nice to not do everything on my own. We appreciate his new schedule so much!!! I am looking forward to being with my CK family!!!

Love the 2:20 time goal - I know you can do it!!! I'm shooting to break 2:30 at my next half in March - we can both kick those goals in the arse!!!

The more I read about how 2012 was for others, I see I was not the only one who had a crazy year... 2013 is going to be much better... xoxo
