Here is a quote that Big River Running posted "Goethe said "If I accept you as you are, I will make you worse; however, if I treat you as though you are what you are capable of becoming, I will help you become that." In that spirit, let's get better together! Join us in Forest Park this Sunday morning for our first Go! St. Louis Training Team run." I think this is where Jillian from BL is coming from, I never truly got it until I saw this quote.
Overall this past week, eating wise, I am content how I did. 5 days of consistant logging and not over eating. Caloriess were a little high, mostly in the 1,800-2,000 calorie range. I never felt deprived and I am getting into a good routine. This point forward I am going to continue to be mindful of the nutrients BUT I am going to lower my calories a little between the 1,700-1,900 calorie range. Super long run days I may need to adjust.
Yesterday was PT with new Personal Trainer. It was a perfect session. I worked hard and she did not kill me but I sure do feel it today. We have a good plan of the 1 session per week and identified which classes will be good for me to take to compliment the running.
Tomorrow is the 5K, we will see, I don't really have a lot of emotions about it so maybe that will be good. I am definately not in the shape I was in the Fall but this is a starting point of where I am now. 31 minutes is the goal.
Sunday I am going to weigh in for the first time in about 6 weeks. I just know I am heavier than I have been in a long time. Again, it is where I am and I do need to know so I can use the scale as a part of my progress monitor. I truly know there is a chance I will see 235-240, it scares (in 2012 I stayed in the 220's) me BUT I got to get on that scale so I know. I have not decided if I will weight in everyday or just try the weekly weigh ins. I noticed when I had a big drop in weight one day I would kind of give my self more wiggle room with what I was popping into my mouth. Maybe not weighin everyday but every 2-3 days. We will see.
I hope everyone has a great weekend.

Love the quote! Glad you like your PT, let me know what kind of classes she recommends, I might try to do those too. I want to get stronger in my upper body while training for the marathon but don't want to overdo it.
