Yesterday was a good day overall. It was a busy and stressful day at work BUT the great thing is that I did not have the urge to throw food in my mouth. Someone brought in all this candy. I did eat one roll of smarties but that was it, I didn't even want anymore. I was so satified with the healthy lunch and snack that I brought. I ended up with 1,781 calories, a little high but a good start. Nutritients were good expect for too many carbs.

Finally! I am back. I have attempted to blog a few times the past month but was always interrupted with work and ended up closing the browser without saving anything......

Leading up to the holidays it got pretty crazy for me at work and home. Work was just crazy busy, including a last minute sales trip they wanted me to go on that made it more difficult to complete the work I needed to do. BUT it was worth it. We landed the 70,000 job! Yesterday was almost a duplicate nutrition day as the previous 2 days. I am OK with that because I have logged 3 days in a row, I feel in more control than I have in a long time, I don't feel deprived and I am eating with awareness. All these things are going to help me reach my goals: weight loss and running goals.

Yesterday was a pretty good day overall. Nutrition wise I was just under 2,000 calories and nutrition wise I did OK - carbs were over by 30g, fat was way too high because of the brownie I ate BUT sugar was only 2 grams over. The good thing was that the brownie was totally planned and slowly savored. I really wanted something cakey and chocolately and I knew a tiny piece would not satisfy me. Yesterday's eating was pretty good. Kept it just under 1,900 calories and nutrients were alll just a smidge over, not horrible. Had a personal training session last night, I will probably only have 2 more with Scott. I have been personal training with him for about 3.5 years now. He is moving!!! I am going to miss him. He is a PT/Chiropractor, he has gotten me through all my races and has been a great trainer and friend. There is another gal at our community center that I will train with....
