lost in the haze
of a deep grey sky
i found myself wondering
how and why
i carry a burden
that's unique to me
i face some challenges
that are mine only
like the snowflakes
tumbling to the ground
no two alike
have ever been found
for the paths we walk
are but for one
and ours to stumble
when the day is done
but when we stumble
and this is the key
there is always someone
on bended knee
to lift us up
and lend a hand
to share their strength
to lead the band
that cheers us on
and makes us smile
who'll hear our story
and stay for awhile
and though their paths
are not like ours
it's in their eyes
our fortune towers
because they believe
in the strength within
a wonderful person
we call sweet friend
and so alone
we'll never be
along this path
there's you and me
you are God's gift
the greatest of all
with you by my side
i fear not to fall
the challenges i face
i share with you
and when victorious
i will share that too
so to all the friends
and all that you do
with love i share
this gift with you
....we wouldn't be, without you.

A long time ago....There was a woman who wrote prose....She took a break and came back even better than before......which all thought was impossible. Grace has the gift and even more. A good heart and a caring nature.... A toast as we click our netties together...to better times.
