it is with the best intentions that i start every day. i wake up with a pep in my step and feeling positive about my potential for success during the next 24 hours. i have a good breakfast and drink my water (did i tell you how much i am starting to hate water). everything seems to be going my way and then the first distraction comes along. today it's my mother. the home care worker just called to tell me that my mother is not eating well and is very, very sleepy. she is also more confused...

hi everyone,i hope you all had a joyous, fun and happy holiday season. i did! i also did the best i could to eat healthy, but in the end didn't succeed. as I posted the other day, i am fine with it! now it's a new year and a new day and my passion for losing weight and staying healthy is invigorated!
for the most part i intend to go back to the basics and stick with the plan i followed during my most succesful days with ck. i will set myself up for success every day. that means...

since ralph was working, those were my kisses at midnight. 
i can't remember the last time i had a hershey kiss. considering all the indulgences i allowed myself during the past 2 weeks or so, it's amazing that these were the first of the kiss variety. i am not sad or depressed though. i don't have any regrets at all. overall, i feel great about what i have done for my health in 2007 and i look forward to continued su...

yesterday, i tried to catch up with some reading on ck and i quickly stumbled upon the 2 sides of ck. the good side was in my inbox. i received several emails thanking me for, well thanking me for just being here. apparently, karen (archimedes) suggested we send PMs to the folks on ck who have inspired (helped, been there, etc.) us in anyway. i was pleasantly surprised by my in box and thanks to all who wrote to me. what a wonderful suggestion from karen. i have a few pms to send out over th...
