i am sad to report that the last of the juicy, sweet, mouth-watering watermelons are making their way to the markets in the northeast. in fact, i have already noticed that they are smaller, less succulent and often less ruby red than the wonderful melons of just a month ago. it's a miserable day for us diehard watermelon lovers. i can honestly say that i have eaten watermelon every single day for the past 3 months. it has been my go-to fruit and i will miss it so.

i realized that i shared this story with the century club, but not on my blog. i always say, you just have to laugh because otherwise we might cry.

another good day under my belt. it is too soon to say the worst is behind me, but i feel great about the direction i am going. i weighed myself this morning (i know i have to stop doing that) and I am back to my lowest weight (since I began this journey), so i have already reaped a reward from 2 days of good behavior. imagine if i get a few hundred good days behind me? oh the possibilities are endless.

sometimes things don't always go according to our plans. there are just certain things we can't control, like the weather and or emotions at times. and if we can't control our emotions, than how can we can control emotional eating? that is the biggest challenge i face.
