I lost an old friend today or rather a young friend. Eric, would have been 40 on October 30th. He was found in his apartment this morning. I dont have a clue what happened, but I am even sadder to make a guess. Eric was very overweight. He probably needed to lose 150 pounds. He was always a big person, but recently I could see through his Facebook photos, he had gotten even heavier. On Weds, I went food shopping. By the time I got home it was almost 6:30 PM, I was getting hungry and dinner wasn't even started. So I took all the packages in except two bags with non-perishables and cleaning supplies. I left the trunk open knowing I would go get the bags as soon as I got dinner going. I wrote this long, wonderful blog the other day and then it just vanished. Its happened before and I know better. Having been burned before, I usually write my blog in a word document and then cut and paste to CK, but because I was in a hurry (proof that haste really does make waste) I just wrote it on CK and then the magician like powers of CK just made it disappear before I could save it! I havent had a chance to blog in several days.
