I feel amazing...

I am approaching the most fit I have ever been in my life and interesting to note that I am about 30 pounds larger than when I was this fit before. It just goes to show that your size does not accurately predict your fitness.

I am really strong right now, incredibly flexible, and my cardio is great.

I have been doing a lot of cross training - I run once a week, swim once a week, play soccer twice a week, practice yoga 3 or 4 times a week and weight training/calisthenics at least once a week.

I am noticing how each of the activities impacts the others - especially yoga. I have been taking a core yoga class (which is essentially pilates) and in general the yoga classes I have been taking are intense strength building and my core is engaged. I am noticing how, for pretty much the first time in my life, my abs are starting to get stronger.

And with that, I feel tight and strong all through my midsection when I run and swim.

I am noticing how the weight training is impacting my ability to play soccer... I find explosive movements easier and my kick stronger, my balance so much better. I am noticing how running is increasing my cardio, making swimming and soccer easier.

It's exciting to see myself every week getting that much faster/stronger/more efficient and I am looking forward to shedding some weight which will only make my activity that much easier and you'll be able to see the muscle underneath my pudge.

Right now I feel great and my motivation is high. Here's to keeping the momentum! :y:

Wow! That is fantastic. Your energy is inspiring. It must feel so good to see and feel all those changes. Imagine what is possible.
