Perhaps this is what is called a "plateau".

Or maybe, I'm just messing up my body.

Gained a few pounds last w/end, and have been working really hard to lose them again.

I'm nervous that with all my exercise, my body doesn't know how to just metabolize food anymore. Meaning, that the moment I stop working-out like crazy, I will just balloon?

I'm 44 male, 5"10, 203 lbs now (SW: 226). I consume about 1400 calories daily, and burn-off about 300-400 / ...

New - Old Pants

Today,

I marched into the basement and pulled out an old box of clothes, some of which I haven't seen in 5-10 years. Mainly, pants & short-sleeve shirts.

Incredibly, I actually found some clothes that fit (again), and some that are already too big!

I now have 2-3 more pairs of pants, and a beautiful shirt (that my wife loves) to wear again.

Still, there were some pants that do not fit yet, but those are my new goal.

Mainly, I'm down from 42-44 inch wais...

Weekend Roller-Coaster Weight Gain

I haven't learned the secret of quickly losing those weekend pounds yet.

I have a free-meal(s) Friday Night / Sat Morn, which always sets me back.

Last week, I gained 3 lbs on Friday Night / Sat day, when I measured on Sat night

By Sunday, I was down 1 lbs from the three, and by Monday AM, I lost 3 lbs, I was already below my Friday AM weight. Now that is fantastic.

This week, that didn't quite happen.

Secretly, I've been doing the TSC Heart of a Champion program by Chris Krueger.

Fantastic guy, very inspirational, and really fun.

This week, I've finally decided to start logging my progress:

3 mile run: 6.7mph, total time: 26:40 secs
Pull Ups: 12
Push Ups - 45-> 50.
