View SAXONHARP's food & exercise for this day
Last week was a mixed bag for me. The first half of the week was great for me food wise. But I had a hard time on Friday and Saturday. It was the first time in a long time that I actually binged. Cookies both days did me in. I dont normally keep a lot of sweets around the house but my husband had some friends over and they left cookies. Well they are gone now.
On Friday I had to go to my Friends fathers funeral. It was a grave side service. He was in the service for 8 years so he had military honors. It was tough to be there to begin with but when they played taps, shot the guns and did the flag folding ceremony
..it was an overwhelming experience. I was so exhausted when I got home I cannot even imagine how the family felt.
Life is always going to moving at top speed I think. So I need to find some middle ground.
Honestly I am just so tired. My body is tired. I had to run 12 miles yesterday. It was not my best run but not my worst. It was one of those runs that I really did not want to do it but luckily my body just took over and I was so glad when it was done.
So the loss I had early in the week is gone and I am back to 224 with a 0 loss for the week. I have never been one of those people who can say wow, I lost weight and I ate like crazy
This week I really am just going to have to take it day by day. I am not going to claim major goals. I am going to try to get more rest and work on fueling my body with necessary foods.
I do look forward to seeing the nutritionist tomorrow. Even though I think I know what to eat, I am hoping for some new knowledge and inspiration.

Hmmm... someone here told me something about embracing the slow lane... just cooling down and accepting that "top speed" is not sustainable. Oh... yeah... that was YOU! Be good to yourself!!!

Hey girl this weekend (Sunday) was especially tought for me with the superbowl & all that food. You are doing really well, and yes, there will be set backs. Hopefully we just learn from them and keep going in the right direction. Hope your appointment goes well!

I am with you my friend. I will never say wow, I lost weight and I ate like crazy either.
Glad you got your run in. I was planning on going to the gym yesterday but that never happened. I worked later than I wanted and it's not good to go to the gym hungry. So home I went.
I hope you find answers that you need from the nutritionist.
