View SAXONHARP's food & exercise for this day
I have to start out by giving a shout out to my big brother (one of them, I have 3 older brothers). Yesterday my brother Klaus, age 45, did his first ironman. He completed it in 10:26:51. I watched his progress all day online. They had a live feed at the finish line and I saw him cross and he looked great. He did the marathon in 3:32:10 AFTER swimming 2.4 miles and biking 112 miles. He was ranked 12 in his division and 114 OVERALL. Amazing.
This weekend was very nice. I sure needed the break. Even physically I was exhausted after the body scan, that prep work to be cleaned before exhausted me. Of Course I did not get as much accomplished this weekend but it was still nice being home. Jason was encouraging me to go out with some friends because it has been a while since I have a girls night. That was sweet of him but I just wanted to be home.
My 12 mile run went well this weekend. This Saturday I have my 10k....it is supposed to be 95 degress, yuck. I can only do my best.
Here is to a productive Monday at work!

Nice job Klaus! I can't even run a 3:32 marathon when it's the ONLY activity I'm doing.

Wow - your brother did amazing!
I'm sure your 10k will be fine. Remember, the forecast changes on almost an hourly basis so hope for the heat to break.

sounds like you have a family of amazing athelets!!
I just can't force myself to run when it gets over 90, let alone 100 degrees
