Hello! Here is the race report. Finished 2:23:03, a 16 second PR! Honestly at first I was super bummed about not hitting 2:20. BUT after getting reasonable emails from my running coach and training team members. A PR is s PR you have to take them when you get them. I am finally accepting that and not feeling like I failed. Sunday is the Mo Cowbell half marathon! The week before a race, for me, requires a lot of deep breaths. Especially now that I am doing such specific training for a certain goal. Also, the goals have usually have been between Me, Tim, my family and my CK friends. Now our training team knows my goals. Whew it has been another busy week and weekend.
Friday right after work was marching band stuff until late at night and then right back at it on Saturday spent the entire day 11ish AM to 11:30PM at a band competition and only had access to concession food because I did not think to bring my own food BUT also, I just did not have the time so that is OK.
Sunday I was not sure how my 13 mile run was going to go on only 5 hours of sleep and exhaustion setting in

The past 2 days the scale read 223. I know the scale should not make me happy like that but is is nice to see a drop and have it stick around for more than a day

. If it could stay that until next Tuesday I will be very happy.

Taking the pressure off of eating perfect helped me this past week. I know I still need to address the sweet thing but I need to do it gradually because this week I felt very comfortable (no panic feelings) with the eating. Weight is staying at 225 right now but I will take it as it is not a gain.
I recognize that I still need to change my eating to reach my weight loss goals BUT I am willing to take things slower so this next phase in my nutrition plan will not feel restrictive BU...
