I have been dreaming about this day for 30+ years. This morning I stepped on the scale I have been using for 12 years, it is one of doctor type scales that you move the chunk of weight every 50 pounds. As usually I moved the bid chunk to the 200 slot and the scale dropped. I moved it to the 150 pound slot!!!!! Dead on 199. I cannot even believe it. I went upstairs and got Jason so he could see.

Jason is home in the evenings and weekends to help and we are more hopeful about our finances. I just got a nice raise and am getting a Christmas bonus, that helps the holiday mood as ...

This past week has been pretty good. This past Saturday I ran a 5K called Santas on the Loose. Race morning was 7 degrees and there was still some ice and snow on the ground. The route was very hilly too. The plan to was run the race nice and easy and just be safe. I was happy, I ended up running 32:03 and did not push full 5K race effort.

This weekend is the last 5K race. It will be doing a some route I did one month ago. It is hillier and I did it in 31:21. My goal will be to ge...
