thank you all so very much for your kind words yesterday. i am doing fine. life is good and i know it. sometimes you just have to be blue. but your generous hearts were so appreciated and went a long way to lift my spirits.

ralph is away and i am alone this weekend. some friends of ours had invited us to go out to a winery on long island. i typically wouldn't go without ralph, but this time i decided it is the best thing for me to be out and about instead of inside and worrying about everything that i constantly worry about. and so i accepted the invitation. i am determined to enjoy myself today.

i will do my best to stay on plan. i did fine until the night munchies appeared and i ate my way through 500 extra calories for the day. it's amazing how far 500 calories doesn't go when you make bad choices. anyway, i am prepared for whatever comes my way today.

i'll catch up with blogs and emails tomorrow. for now, i am off to just have a great day. you all please do the same...

Hope you're feeling better. Sometimes we need more rest and then can start a new day/week. We run, run, run all the time trying to fit everything in for everyone else and maybe the blues are a sign we just have to say "STOP" for a little while. Be well. Sue

=D Hi Gracie, I hope that Saturday turned out to be blooming grand. Perhaps your friends and a bottle of the Red or White cheered you up. I am still coughing, but not continuously.
