Update:

Just a quick update. Girlfriend recently bought Turbofire. I woke up today yearning for a calorie burn so I brought up the idea of us trying it out tonight. So after class (at 10pm), I will be giving it a try just to find a way to get a burn.

It's crazy how after a week, I'm finding ways to get calorie burns. It's definitely a good sign.

Kinect

I like video games. I always have since I was a little kid. I'm a "gamer" as they call us. But it's not something that I let take over my day. I still lead a very busy life, work, school, awesome girlfriend. So it's definitely not holding me back.

Finding my motivation

So as I've shared, I'm committed to making the moves that are necessary to restart my journey. After a year of ups and downs, I am focusing on eliminating excuses and putting in the work. I've been keeping tabs of all food intake in the diary all week long so far. I know it's only been 4 days, but it's a good step in the right direction. Feeling Great

So it's Day 2 of the journey revisited and I feel great. Despite all of the the items on my plate, I'm handling as well as I can. I'm finally focused on keeping track of what I eat and I am finding out that as I eat healthier, I end up underplanning and eating much less than I should be. For example, I'm at breakfast/snack/and lunch; it's 1:45 and i'm only at 500 calories for the day. I wish I could find the time to add in my workouts but the schedule is so hectic that there isn't much time ...

My 1st Day`

Well here it goes.

My weight loss journey has been a very inconsistent one. A couple of years ago I started my journey and found some great success. I had lost around 60 lbs and was the lightest I had been weight wise since my earlier years. Then the recession of 2009 hit strong and I was one of the many affected by this. Losing my job, struggling with bills, struggling relationships; all of that lead to depression in which I gained my weight back and then some.
